A person is smart, though I don’t mean this in a report card/IQ test sort of way. Those kinds of measurements are mostly irrelevant in the real world.
When I come across adults who reference the glory days of high school grades and offer to share their standardized test results, I cringe.
But what have you done lately?
Generally speaking, however, a person is smart. A person gets it done. A person thinks. A person cares about themselves, other people, and their environment.
A person listens.
A person is brave.
People, on the other hand, are a problem. People are not those things.
I’m not sure what to do about people.

People are definitely a problem.

I blame an alien abduction which I’m pretty sure happened when I was 5. 🛸 Butt wait, could the fault lie not in the stars but in myself? 😱

That’s is one of my most favourite quotes. I had to learn the speech for grade ten English class.

In tenth grade I was usually so stoned I could hardly remember my name.

I get what you mean. There are 5 different types of intelligence. Maybe I should write about it sometime…

You should. I’m interested – I only really know about two – emotional and the “smart” stuff.
