Lots of Stephen King in this list. Do you have a favorite? Mine is Hearts in Atlantis, but I’ll give a shout out to Doctor Sleep because it was my impetus to giving up drinking.

I didn’t read much Stephen King while my mother was alive – she really hated his writing, and sort of tagged along. I’m in my Stephen King era now, and enjoying it. I read the whole Stand, and I enjoyed it, but I think my favourite is one from a few years ago – The Outsider.
