27 Dresses (2008)
Iris (2014) [biography]
Little Women (2018) [set in 2000]
Clean (2021) [I quit – not for me]

Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City (2021)
Life: One (2019)
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2012)
The Other Woman (2014) [silly, crass, and I love it]
Odd Thomas (2013) [a quirky movie I quite love]
The World’s End (2013) [the ending is so bizarre]
Happy Gilmore (1996) [I’d never actually seen it. It was okay.]
The Last Showgirl (2024) [Pamela Anderson in a dramatic role. It’s heartbreaking and brilliant.]
Doing Time On Maple Drive (1992) [It was a television movie, and it punches above its weight.]

August 29, 1929 – March 1, 2024
August 2025
How To Train Your Dragon (2010) [Another classic I’d never seen – I liked this one.]
Mars Attacks (1996)
“Three To Ride,” by Lexi Blake
You, Again (2010)
“Two To Love,” by Lexi Blake
Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) [I’m old enough for this movie to be remembered as ‘Star Wars.’]
The Rezort (2017) [I love zombie movies.]
Mash – The Comedy That Changed Everything (2025)
Aliens: Earth (2025) (season one) [I’m counting The Pitt and Aliens: Earth even though their television shows because I feel like it. Also, I’m consuming little in the way of new content, and I want the win. Also, also – they’re short seasons. Basically, long movies. I can spin nearly anything. I should work in politics.)
The Avengers (2011)
The Host (2013)
Cliffhanger (1993) [the action stands up, but the prize – everything for a measly 100 million – now seems small)
Anyone But You (2023) [I liked it better the second time around, possibly because I no longer had high hopes)
The Firm (1993) [I liked pre-Mission Impossible Tom Cruise]
The Fugitive (1993)
Thunderbolts* (2025) [A very different Marvel Avengers movie. I loved it. Thirty-six out of ten.]
“Under The Dome,” by Stephen King. [It’s a big book. Definitely not a ‘one-sitting’ effort.]

This reminds me that we have to go back and finish The Pitt.
Happy Gilmore is just okay—but I like the sequel better. Not sure if you’ve watched it on Netflix yet.
I loved The Firm. I think it’s the only film that’s as good as the book.
And The Fugitive—LOVE that movie.
I want to watch The Last Showgirl! Seeing it here is my reminder.

It actually took me two days to watch The Last Showgirl. I had to stop to catch my emotions.
