My page is suddenly in Czech. I have no idea. This better not be what today is going to be like. Anyhow, I sent WP a message but they are invariably excruciatingly slow, so if anyone knows how this happened and how I can fix it, please help.
It’s not even the full moon.

That’s really bizarre.

Right? And Czech seems an odd choice.

I am having same problem. Short-term fix for now. Right click on mouse and choose Translate to English.

Thank God. At least it isn’t the universe getting oddly personal.

The Full Moon explanation stopped being applicable many full moons ago for me…
Are you sure your device is not showing your location in Europe?
Provided that it’s only WP, click on your avatar in the top right corner (on the computer at least) and go to account settings in the left-hand side menu. There, you will have “Interface language.” Make sure you check English, save changes, close and open. Hopefully, that will fix it.
Also, Czech and Slovakian are not the same languages.

It was the weirdest thing. As soon as I opened the page, Google translate popped up with “Czech” option. I foolishly clicked “no” thinking Google was mistaken. It stopped doing it after a few hours for no reason I could see, though I will check the location thing, and thank you.
I did run a virus and cookie and all that jazz scan just to make sure it wasn’t a me thing. My computer is COVID free.

The language comment confused until I realized – that’s not a country anymore. So odd that I did that. I will amend it. Thank you π
