November 2025 – Movies I Watched, Books I Read

Pluribus (2025) 2

Can I Get a Witness? (2024) [see above re: dystopian]

The Watchers (2024) 3

“The Running Man,” by Stephen King (Richard Bachman) 5

Golden Girls: Forty Years of Laughter and Friendship (2025)

Freakier Friday (2025)

Before I Fall (2017)

A time loop movie, a la Groundhog Day, but much darker. Think I’ll go watch it again.

  1. Black text indicates a new read or watch; red text indicates a reread or rewatch. Books are listed with their authors; however, movies/television shows are listed by their year of release. The list is presented in order of consumption. ↩︎
  2. I decided to start including series because I started watching them again. I’d boycotted them for several years, disliking the time commitment they represented. Plus, a great many series were the opposite of good. Things have improved of late, however, and I can change my mind. ↩︎
  3. One of the problems with M. Night Shyamalan’s movies is his desire to explain absolutely everything in the denouement. This movie should’ve ended without the predictable final act. It would’ve been better. ↩︎
  4. I should’ve put this information into a spreadsheet for easy analysis. I’ve watched/read a lot of content multiple times this year. I also have a tendency to consume dark-ish content that I didn’t realize until I started recording it. It would be interesting to run various filters on the data. I wonder what it would say, if anything, about me? ↩︎
  5. The book’s ending is a chef’s kiss. ↩︎
